PTSD may have helped take a life
The ones not directly related to a particular military engagement are referred to a “collateral damage”. We just got one here in Washington, in our beautiful Mt. Rainier National Park.
A 24 year old Iraq veteran, who was allegedly involved in several shootings, killed a Park Ranger and then died, apparently of weather-related causes since he was dressed only in jeans and a T-shirt.
According to the report below, he was probably suffering from PTSD.
Here’s an article from the Seattle Times:

Fight PTSD with Sleepsonic and Hemi-Sync
We have been having some pretty good results with PTSD sufferers using selected Hemi-Sync PTSD-help audio CDs with our Sleepsonic “Headphones in a Pillow”. This is a non-pharmaceutical, non-addictive, reasonable priced solution to a problem that will continue to exist as long as we send our soldiers into harm’s way, repeatedly.
